Incheon National University RISE Neulbom School Instructor Training Basic and Advanced Courses (2nd Session)
The RISE Neulbom School of Incheon National University (Head Professor: Ki-soon Han, Department of Creative Human Resource Development), operated by the INU RISE Project Group, successfully concluded the “RISE Neulbom School Instructor Training Basic and Advanced Courses (2nd Session)” over two days from December 13 to 14 through a hybrid format combining online and offline sessions. This training was operated with the support of Incheon Metropolitan City as part of the Incheon Neulbom School University-Linked Activation Support Project under the Regional Innovation System & Education (RISE) framework.
Although severe winter cold continued throughout the two days of training, the classroom was filled with enthusiasm for learning. This program attracted 300 applicants each for the basic and advanced courses, including prospective instructors and currently active Neulbom School instructors who wished to understand and experience Incheon National University’s programs. A total of 255 participants attended on site, sharing a meaningful time to strengthen the professionalism and competencies required of Neulbom School instructors.
The basic course held on December 13 covered practical and essential content for instructor activities, including understanding the Neulbom School, on-site response learned through actual civil complaint cases, lesson design learned through educational cases, building relationships with students and behavior guidance, practice in student response and communication, and understanding administrative tasks and reporting systems.
The advanced course held on December 14 allowed participants to directly experience 10 programs developed by Incheon National University, including “Exploration! Finding Hidden Science in Daily Life,” “World Traditional Games Exploration Team,” “Happy Mind Growth Playground,” “We Are the Currency Exploration Team,” “Strong! Fun! Mini Olympics,” “Math Exploration Team: Solving Math through Play,” “Curiosity Science Classroom,” “Incheon Stories Learned through Reading, Walking, and Writing,” “Children’s Economic Playground,” and “Move Science.” Participants actively asked questions and shared opinions, demonstrating a sincere attitude toward learning.
The head professor of the Neulbom School, Ki-soon Han (Department of Creative Human Resource Development), stated that “the strong interest shown through the large number of applications was in itself a great encouragement, and the sincere participation of those present made this occasion even more meaningful,” adding that “we will continue to make efforts to ensure that learning connects people and supports growth.”
The RISE Neulbom School of Incheon National University plans to continue providing field-oriented instructor training and sustained support so that Neulbom School instructors can deliver warm and creative learning to children in the local community.
